"Cafe L'Amore is THE Italian restaurant in Oakland. They consistently revise the menu and only serve the best quality food. Be sure to ask for the big pita bread, you won't regret it. Mike and Mark are the best, they are so kind and they really make you feel like family. Great for lunch or dinner, and the catering is phenomenal. Highly recommended!!"

"5 stars across the board, this BYOB gem in the heart of Oakland really offers one of the best dining experiences one can receive. Food always comes out well prepared and tasty for certain. I will mention the service is likely in room for improvement. The staff needs to learn to be slightly more attentive, this place has great pizza, pasta dishes, and the specials are fabulous. "Don't normally leave reviews but this place is AMAZING. Our family and I's go to place and my family is beyond picky. Not too salty, not under or overcooked, just perfect. So good you want to gatekeep 😂 Octopus, NY strip (cooked perfectly ALWAYS), calamari and pollo l'amore is a must. Also BYOB which is great. Staff is super friendly as well :)"

"This is easily my favorite Italian restaurant. I don't live close, but it's 100% worth the extra drive every time my girlfriend and I have a free night. The food is consistently amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We always try to order something new, but everything's so good that it's hard not to go back to our favorites. "Tonight was my wife and I's second time here with friends and the food was fantastic. The homemade pasta with the bolognese sauce and vodka sauce were excellent and fresh. The wood oven pizza is the best in the area and the cheesecake and chocolate cake were phenomenal. The owner is great and personable as well. Highly recommend this place."
